Tide Alerts help
Tide Alerts is for boaters, waterfront homeowners, and anyone who needs water levels on a local waterway — not only a distant NOAA forecast applied as an offset.
The same product runs on iOS, Android, and the web. You can browse the map, tables, and calendars without an account.
What you can do today
Section titled “What you can do today”- See live and recent water levels on a map, then open charts, tide tables, and calendars for each station.
- Coverage includes Sentient Things hyperlocal gauges plus public stations from NOAA, SECOORA, NERACOOS, and USGS — more than 450 tidal stations.
- Sign in with Apple, Google, or email to keep favorites across devices and subscribe to public email alerts.
- Print or share tide tables as PDF. Sync a live calendar into Apple Calendar, Google, or Outlook.
- Check a station weather tab (wind). No login required.
Honest limits (this version)
Section titled “Honest limits (this version)”- Not an official NOAA app. We do not claim to be more accurate than NOAA everywhere.
- Email alerts ship today. Custom threshold alerts, push notifications, and SMS do not.
- There are no in-app purchases. Hardware tide gauges (solar, cellular) are sold separately.
- Data and forecasts are for awareness — not a substitute for official marine forecasts or your own judgment.
- This help site does not use machine learning to write or score tides.
